Keep Hesperia Beautiful
Show Up, Clean Up

Meet & Clean
Meet & Clean is a new program being offered for 2020. Created as a means for individuals and groups to make a difference in our community on one day with no preregistration required.
Want to help out? Simply show up at our cleanup location on the day of the event. It's that easy.
As with our other programs, all supplies are provided by the City for all volunteers including gloves, bags, and safety vests. Additionally, event sponsors may assist by providing food/snacks for volunteers.

Join us for Community Cleanup Day
As part of our commitment to keeping the community clean, the City of Hesperia holds two Community Clean Up Days each year - in April and October. On the second Saturday in April and the fourth Saturday in October, the City hosts activities to clean up vacant areas and encourages citizens to get involved.
Volunteers work in groups at multiple locations throughout the City, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For each event, volunteers receive a free event t-shirt and clean-up supplies.
For questions or further information, contact the Community Relations Specialist at (760) 947-1006 or email eacosta@cityofhesperia.us.

Adopt and Make a Difference

Adopt-A-Street
Looking to make a difference in your community right now? The City's Adopt-A-Street program is the perfect opportunity for both individuals and groups to make a positive impact right here at home.
The City of Hesperia Adopt a Street program is part of a litter-reduction campaign designed to remove litter and debris from City roads and improve the quality of our environment.
This program establishes a partnership between volunteer groups and the City of Hesperia by working together in the effort of litter control in public right-of-way.
As a volunteer, you will receive:
-
A safety orientation from the coordinator
-
Safety equipment including safety vests, gloves, trash bags and road warning signs
-
Two Adopt a Street signs located at either end of the adopted section announcing your sponsorship
-
An opportunity to contribute to community beautification
-
Recognition for a job well done
